Create projects are where we put our faith into action. Our volunteer teams build solutions to real-world problems, using the unique skills God has given us, to contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
Create projects happen in our local city-based communities. Find yours to get started.
What if the technology we build doesn’t just innovate, but redeem? What if our code, our designs, and our products aren’t just useful, but reflect the very heart of God?
We believe there is a way of building technology that redemptively changes the world while transforming those who build it. That's why we gather and build together as a community seeking to glorify God.
We build redemptive technology together in community using the 4D cycle from the FaithTech Playbook.
Each element of this cycle is accompanied with teaching and tools to help you utilise this uniquely biblical framework for building technology. To check it out, download a copy of the FaithTech Playbook by clicking below.
We reorient ourselves to see,
through the lens of Christ, those
most affected by the problem.
We involve the wisdom of
God, testing and refining our
approach continually.
We recognize that God
establishes our steps to develop
the solution and we co-develop
with the Holy Spirit.
We redefine impact as friendship
compounded by time and
measure and demonstrate our
impact redemptively.
If you have a desire to see tech leveraged to solve a problem you've seen in your community, city, ministry, mission, charity or church, we'd love to hear from you! Check out the information below on how to pitch your challenge to the volunteer teams in our community.
Prepare a 1-minute pitch describing the challenge you want to engage with the community to solve.
Provide details about your challenge and share the pitch you've prepared for the team to review.
The FaithTech team will review your submission and follow up with next steps.

FaithTech Create runs in our local city-based communities. The best way to get involved is to find a meetup and learn about the opportunities to participate locally.
Our heart, at a city and global level, is to equip our Create teams to succeed. We offer an environment where teams can learn and grow together. Practically, the support resources we offer are:
There are two main models for Create projects that you can get involved in:
Short-form: these are hackathons, sprints, and other short-term events that happen in our cities periodically throughout the year.
Long-form: The full Create program is best practiced through a multi-week expression, where teams gather weekly to learn how to build technology in a biblically based method and work through the 4D Cycle in planned stages.
Absolutely, this program is for people across tech, ministry, business, and charity. If you’re passionate to help design solutions to real-world problems, there’s a place for you. Each team ideally has a mixture of skills to bring balance and momentum. This will often include a mix of developers, researchers, subject matter experts, a project manager, and a designer.
FaithTech Create happens primarily in our city-based communities, but our online communities will also periodically run the program as well.
In Create, individuals and organizations can bring problems or challenges to their local city as a potential Create project.
Ideas must be framed as a problem or challenge statement to be presented to the city for potential volunteers to consider forming a team around it. (e.g. There are unreached people groups in our city who face language barriers, cultural isolation, and deep loneliness. How might we use technology to identify, connect with, and share the hope of the Gospel with these communities?)
Teams must have the ability to follow the 4D cycle to discern the best solution to the problem.
